Canadian coffee and donut chain Tim Hortons is set to launch its first restaurant in Northern Ireland this week.
Located on Fountain Street in Belfast, the new branch will open for business at midday on May 25, with the first 100 customers in the door being treated to a free lunch while the very first person to arrive will be gifted with free Tim Hortons coffee for a year, reports The Belfast Telegraph.
Commenting on the new restaurant, chief finance and commercial officer for Tim Hortons UK Kevin Hydes said, "We are thrilled to be bringing our famous brewed coffee, baked goods and freshly-prepared food to the people of Belfast. Following the success of our recent restaurant openings in Scotland, Wales and in England, we can’t wait to bring a taste of Canada to Northern Ireland."
