Dublin-based travel software firm Datalex has experienced a 25% rise in profit after tax to €1.7 million and a 5% rise in revenue to €272 million during the first half of its financial year.
The Irish Independent reports that new statistics revealed by Datalex indicate that the company's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EDITDA) increased 14% to €5.2 million.
Datalex's software platforms are used by airlines and travel groups to help boost ancillary revenues. The company's clients include Aer Lingus, Lufthansa, Air China and JetBlue.
"A Strong Sales Pipeline"
Datalex CEO Aidan Brogan commented, "We have a strong sales pipeline, and will make new customer announcements in the coming months and an investment programme which will allow us to take advantage of the growing market opportunity in digital commerce for travel retail."
