Irish travel software firm Datalex has raised its profit guidance for 2020.
As reported by The Irish Independent, Datalex currently expects to generate earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of between $3.75 million and $4.5 million this year.
Datalex previously forecast EBITDA of between $750,000 and $1.5 million for this year.
A number of international airlines use Datalex's software to boost revenue from passengers. The firm's customers include Aer Lingus, Air China and JetBlue.

The Irish Independent quotes Datalex chief executive Sean Corkery as saying, "Although the company continues to face significant challenges into 2021, our focussed and proactive response to the challenges of COVID has increased expected earnings performance in 2020 and contributed to this revised guidance.
"Simultaneously, we have developed and driven our product-led, cloud-enabled SaaS strategy and capability, positioning us well to capitalise on future industry trends and growth opportunities."
Additionally, Datalex stated that it believes that it is well-positioned to benefit from "the emerging recovery".
