Strangford Lough
Strangford Lough is the largest sea inlet of Ireland. It is almost completely enclosed by the Ards Peninsula and is connected to the Irish Sea by a narrow strait between Strangford and Portaferry. The estuary is dotted with countless islands and tiny islets, some of which can be reached on fortified causeways.
