A new seven-storey, 158-bedroom hotel just off O'Connell St (pictured) in Dublin is set to create 150 hospitality jobs following the project being handed the green light by the city council.
Tetrarch Capital, which in December announced plans to invest €100m in the hospitality, leisure and accommodation market over the next three years, is spearheading the development at Sackville House, located behind the former Clerys department store.
The Sunday Times reports that the hotel, which is expected to cost €16 million, should be open by the end of next year, and will employ 150 people.
Tetrarch bought the former three-storey office building two years ago for in excess of €4m. It is reported the new development will be a "budget boutique hotel".
