KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell owner Yum Brands Inc has announced that company veteran David Gibbs will succeed Greg Creed as its chief executive officer after Creed retires at the end of this year.
Company Roles
Gibbs has worked for Yum Brands since 1989 and has held several senior roles at the company, including chief financial officer and chief operating officer, the latter of which is his current role.
Creed, who has been with Yum for 25 years, will continue to serve as the company's CEO until the end of 2019, and will serve as a part-time adviser next year. He will also remain on the company's board following his retirement.
