Visit Belfast has partnered with Belfast One, Linen Quarter and Destination CQ to launch a marketing campaign to promote the UK's four-week "eat out to help out" discount scheme.
The "eat out to help out" discount scheme entitles diners in the UK to an up to £10 per head discount when eating out on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the month of August.
The aim of the new marketing campaign launched by Visit Belfast and its partners is to encourage people to dine out in Belfast on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays this month to take advantage of the "eat out to help out" scheme and support the city's hospitality businesses.
"A Great Opportunity"
Belfast's lord mayor, Frank McCoubrey , stated, "The 'eat out to help out' scheme is a great way to support our city centre hospitality businesses as they get back on their feet. It provides a great opportunity for people to return to the city and enjoy dining out safely while getting up to £10 off their bill."
"Working Hard To Ensure A Responsible And Welcoming Environment"
Meanwhile, Visit Belfast chief executive Gerry Lennon commented, "Over the last few years, Belfast has become synonymous with great food and dining experiences. It's great to see such a variety of eateries participating in the initiative, from gastropubs to hotels and fine dining restaurants, all working hard to ensure a responsible and welcoming environment for people to enjoy with confidence."
