Supermac's Owner Seeks Permission To Construct Motorway Service Station In Ennis

Supermac's owner Pat McDonagh has applied for planning permission to construct a motorway service station in Ennis, Co. Clare.

Clare County Council previously granted McDonagh permission to construct a motorway service station in Ennis, but An Bord Pleanála subsequently blocked the proposed development.

McDonagh told The Irish Times that he has now submitted a new plan for a service station in Ennis on the Galway-to-Limerick motorway.

Facilities And Employment

If approved, the proposed service station will include a Supermac's outlet, a Papa John's outlet, a Super Subs outlet, a deli, a retail unit and a fuel court.

McDonagh also said that the proposed service station would create approximately 130 full- and part-time jobs.
