Supermac's Founder's Plaza Group Opens New Motorway Service Station In Portlaoise

Supermac's founder Pat McDonagh's Plaza Group is opening a new motorway service station in Portlaoise this week.

Situated off of junction 17 on the M7, the new service station includes a Supermac's outlet, a Papa John's Pizza outlet, a deli and an extensive coffee offering.

"A Real Boost For The Area"

The Portlaoise plaza, which is Plaza Group's seventh motorway station, is opening following an investment of €10 million, and has created 120 new jobs.

The Irish Independent quotes McDonagh as saying, "Many customers have expressed great anticipation, and we've employed a lot of local staff, which is a real boost for the area."
