Sandwich chain Subway has announced it plans to open eight new outlets in Northern Ireland within the next six months.

According to The Belfast Telegraph, Subway made the announcement at the unveiling of a new £90,000 concept store inside a Spar in the Co. Antrim town of Ballycastle.
The new Ballycastle branch is Subway's 50th Fresh Forward outlet in the UK and its 100th in Europe as a whole.
