The Irish arm of french catering services giant Sodexo has been handed a significant boost with results released yesterday (30 June) showing that it saw pre-tax profits up by 745% in the year to the end of August 2015.
Sodexo Ireland, which is a market leader in food services and facilities management group, and employs more than 1,600 people locally, recorded turnover up 8.9% to €77.2m from €70.9m, as staff costs hit €40m, reports The Irish Times.
The local division here in Ireland recorded a profit of €2.8 million in 2015, compared to €331,000 a year earlier, which represents a 745% jump in profits, while it reported assets of €6.6 million at the end of the reporting period, up from €4.4 million a year earlier.
