Chapter One on Dublin's Parnell Square is feeling the positive effects of the capital's dining renaissance and tourism boom with accumulated profits increasing by €19,090 to €308,734 in the 12 months to the end of February this year.
Chapter One co-owner Ross Lewis, who will appear on the 2016 Hotel & Restaurant panel at the National Hospitality Conference in November, saw new accounts filed by Chapter One business, Lindley Ltd report cash pile at the business jumping from €455,5389 to €622,857 during the period, reports the Irish Independent.
Chapter One restaurant employs 33 people with last year's staff costs totalling €994,561.
Lewis also runs Italian restaurant Osteria Lucio on Dublin’s Grand Canal Quay.
Yesterday, one of Lewis's contemporaries, Kevin Thornton, revealed he is to close Thornton's Restaurant, located in the Fitzwilliam Hotel, at the end of October.
