Stephane Robin, director of Ireland's only two Michelin star restaurant, Patrick Guilbaud, has announced that 2017 is turning out to be the venue's best year since it opened for business in 1981.
As reported by The Irish Examiner, the exceptional performance follows three consecutive record breaking years from 2014 to 2016.
Robin's comments come on the back of new accounts for restaurant firm Becklock Ltd, which show that profits at the business increased by €210,458 to €774,989 in the 12 months to the end of last August. The firm’s cash pile during the year increased more than four-fold from €371,419 to €1.479 million.
Robin stated that the restaurant is benefiting from the large number of tourists in Dublin this summer, adding that the venue is particularly popular with American visitors.
