New accounts for Supermac's have revealed that the restaurant chain's pre-tax profits rose by 37% to €21.88 million last year.
As reported by The Irish Independent, Supermac's revenues rose 15% from €136.8 million to €157.4 million last year while the number of people employed the company grew from 1,533 to 1,621, with staff costs increasing from €32.12 million to €34.7 million.
Post-Tax Profits And Motorway Plazas
Supermac's post-tax profits came to €18.47 million following a corporation tax payment of €3.4 million.
Commenting on the statistics, Supermac's managing director Pat McDonagh said that that the company's Obama and Galway plazas "contributed greatly to the increase in turnover and profits last year".
