New accounts filed by TV chef Martin Shanahan's Kinsale Gourmet Store Ltd company have revealed that the firm's accumulated profits rose from €1.863 million to €2.046 million last year.
As reported by The Irish Independent, the cash pile at Kinsale Gourmet Store Ltd, which is the parent company of Shanahan's Kinsale Fishy Fishy restaurant, totalled €421,074 at the end of December, 2017, while the firm's fixed assets rose from €3.24 million in 2016 to €3.37 million last year.
A Chef's Rise
Shanahan, who was thrust into the public eye by RTÉ Cork series Martin's Mad About Fish, originally opened a gourmet store in Kinsale in 1991, which has since evolved into a restaurant business that seats 160 people.
