The Oliver Dunne Restaurant Group has donated €10,000 to its charity partner, Biobank Ireland Trust, which works to fast-track cancer research to treatment via the development of a Cancer Biobank Network, and facilitates cancer research projects including the development of the largest cancer freezer farm in Europe in partnership with Trinity College, and the National Cancer Institute at St. James's Hospital.
Christmas Charity Campaign
OIiver Dunne Restaurants launched its annual Christmas charity campaign in December of 2021 across all eight of its restaurant venues in support of Biobank Ireland's cancer research conducted by Biobank Ireland, and has now announced that the campaign raised €10,000.

Oliver Dunne stated, "Four out of 10 people will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetimes. As a group, cancer has touched us all in some form, whether personally or through family and friends. We are delighted to support such a worthy cause and would like to thank all our customers for contributing and helping us raise much needed funds for Biobank Ireland."

Biobank Ireland co-founder and director Ciaran Flanagan stated, "The generous funds raised from Oliver Dunne Restaurant's Christmas campaign will help us fund and support crucial research into cancer including the realisation of the TSJCI Biobank and Genomics Centre and fast-tracking research to cancer diagnosis and treatments."
