ODOS architects has just completed a refurbishment of The National café, restaurant and cocktail bar of Belfast's High Street.
Approach To The Interior
Commenting on the venue's revamp, ODOS interior designer Kate MacKrell said, "Our approach to the interior was to create an atmosphere that allows people to seamlessly transition from afternoon lunch into an evening of socialising with ease. With a love for the existing industrial fabric of the interior, architectural honesty played a huge part in the attitude to designing the venue."
The National's new features include high level planting, live projections to create movement, and a wrap-around of timber and velvet banquette.
