New Trad Bar, Bakery and Lobster Menu Launched At Locations In Dublin

The premises previously occupied by Sean O'Casey's Bar on Dublin's Marlborough Street has been transformed into a new trad bar called Piper's Corner.

According to the Daily Edge, the revamped pub, which opened for business at on Saturday 8 July, features a much more modern-looking interior than most traditional music venues in the city and is supplied with an assortment of craft beers from County Wexford's Arthurstown Brewing Co.

Meanwhile, another new venue also opened its doors for business in the capital yesterday (10 July) specialising in the area of artisan baking. Run by husband andwife team Eamonn and Fatima Blair, Bakelicious Montague Street began trading yesterday. as reported by lovindublin.com, where it offered free coffee and cupcakes to its first 200 customers.

In other food-related news, Fitzwilliam Square's Suesey Street restaurant has just launched a new lobster menu. Put together by head chef Gareth Naughton, the menu features a range of unique lobster-themed dishes such as lobster & summer truffle linguine, lobster BLT with truffle fries, lobster & crab ravioli and lobster bisque with smoked Gubbeen toastie.
