Restaurateur and chef Dylan McGrath has opened a new venue named Shelbourne Social in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
Commenting on his new venture, McGrath said, "Shelbourne Social is an innovative new approach to dining in the city. As a restaurant, I feel it relies on the fundamentals — style, comfort, simple and great food, and excellent drinks. We’ve created a menu putting what customers want at the fore, and hopefully we have evolved with how people want to eat. We haven’t hung our hat on any particular style. I hope people enjoy dining here as much as we have enjoyed creating it."
Food And Drink Offerings
Located on the corner of the new One Ballsbridge development and in close proximity to both the RDS and the Aviva Stadium, dishes being served at Shelbourne Social include whole ducks and chickens carved at the table, as well as whole dry-aged short ribs smoked for up to nine hours for as many as eight people.
The venue also features a bar that offers a range of cocktails alongside a selection of beers and wines, and an extensive list of spirits and aperitivo, as well as an array of "bar bites".
Opening hours are 5pm-10.30pm every evening, with a lunch menu launching on December 12 and subsequently being available between 12pm and 3pm from Wednesday to Saturday every week.
