Dublin's two Michelin star Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud was the location for an early morning breakfast get-together hosted by Nespresso Professional last week.
Welcomed to the restaurant by both its owner/Nespresso ambassador Patrick Guilbaud and Nespresso Professional Ireland commercial manager Gordon Thompson, guests were shown a short video at the event which showed highlights of Guibaud’s trip to Jardin, Colombia, where he visited the Nespresso Coffee Plantations and the Community Mill, and met with Nespresso farmer Humberto Galeano Sanchez.
Guilbaud spoke to guests about how he believes the Nespresso AAA Sustainable Quality Programme is benefitting the coffee farmers, the farming landscape and the quality of the coffee beans.
Exclusive Selection
Afterwards, guests sat down to eat breakfast and were given the opportunity to sample Nespresso Exclusive Selection coffees Nepal Lamjung and Kenya Milima.
The Exclusive Selection coffees have been created to pair with the particular tastes and flavours of haute cuisine. Cultivated from rare beans, the Exclusive Selection coffees are only available in Michelin starred restaurants.
