The Mount Charles Group, one of Ireland's leading providers for foodservice, cleaning, security and vending companies, has won £7.3 million worth of new contracts in the past year, according to the company.
The group has also increased its number of employees by 130 to a total of 1,850 during the same period.
The company, which was founded in 1988, has seen a turnover of £28.1 million for the past year, an increase from £25.5 in 2014 and £21.9 million in 2013. One of the key new contracts for Mount Charles is a three-year deal worth £3.5 million to supply professional contract cleaning to a government body. This contract will also result in the group employing a further 212 employees across Northern Ireland.
Over the past year Mount Charles has secured contracts with organisations across Ireland such as Ladbrokes, Translink and Glanbia whilst also retaining their contract with Ulster Rugby.
