The founder and chairman of foodservice business Mount Charles, Trevor Annon, has been awarded Outstanding Contribution award at the 2016 Janus Awards.
The Mount Charles Group, Northern Ireland’s largest independent catering and support services provider, was founded by Annon in 1988, and has since established itself as the leader in contract and retail catering, cleaning, vending and security services.
Under Annon's leadership the company has grown to 2,000 employees across the UK and Ireland,working with companies such as Titanic Belfast, Belfat International Airport, Ulster University and NI Science Park.
Upon receiving the award, Trevor Annon said: “I have been privileged to collect numerous awards on behalf of the company, but this was the first occasion in my career when I have been the recipient of an award.
"For the panel to honour me was a humbling experience, but I felt so proud that my peers within the industry considered me to be worthy of the award."
The Janus Awards are organized by the Institute of Hospitality Northern Ireland and celebrate the very best in professionalism throughout the entire spectrum of hospitality businesses.
