New consolidated accounts lodged by The Wright Bar Group have revealed that Michael JF Wright's hospitality group recorded a pre-tax loss of €1.2 million last year.
Meanwhile, the group's revenues declined from €16.87 million to €16.31 million during the year that ended on June 30 last year, as reported by The Irish Independent.
The group ceased operating its loss-making Wright Venue nightclub in Swords, Co. Dublin, last January, but other units of its business continue to trade profitably and the group expects this to continue going forward.
Portfolio
The group's portfolio currently includes eateries Hogs & Heifers, Wright's Café Bar Swords and Findlater.
The group is also planning to open a new food hall on Dublin's Suffolk Street in 2020.
