McDonald's Ireland is launching a new Irish artisan burger to its menu, available for six weeks, starting on 2 September.
The McMór include two famous Irish brands; Ballymaloe Relish and Charleville Cheddar Cheese. The limited edition burger will be available in all 88 McDonald's outlets in Ireland.
The McMór, which was created by McDonald’s Ireland Chefs Council, is made from all Irish beef and ingredients. Speaking about the launch of the McMór, Roma O’Connor, marketing director, McDonald’s Restaurants of Ireland said:
“I’m confident that customers will love the taste of the product and the Chefs Council has been working hard to ensure just the right mix of ingredients to deliver an authentic Irish taste….in fact a real taste of home.”
Commenting on Ballymaloe Relish’s agreement with McDonald’s, Maxine Hyde, Marketing Manager, Ballymaloe Foods said: “When we were approached by McDonald’s Ireland in the development of the McMór, we quickly agreed to participate in the project. We have been working with the development team ever since.”
The McMór is 100 per cent Irish beef and bacon provided by Dawn Meats and Dew Valley respectively, layered with shredded cabbage, whole baby leaf kale, alongside Charleville Cheddar from Kerry and Ballymaloe Relish.
