London is set to host another interesting pop-up restaurant this June with the launch of the 'Star Wars: The Fork Awakens' eatery.
Barrel & Forks will run the immersive dining experience in a secret location from the 23 June to 2 July.
Big Hospitality reports that the meal will be set in Darth Vader's kingdom and will have guests travel through time and space. Tickets cost £65 and will include a cocktail on entrance, a four-course Star Wars themed meal as well as entertainment for the night.
Due to high demand, Barrel & Forks have already decided to add further dates for the pop-up in September.
Meanwhile, Le Pain Quotidien, a bakery-restaurant in London, gave its customers the opportunity to buy strangers a coffee, tartine, dinner for two or even a baking class with their “Pay It Forward” campaign earlier this week.
The expression, based on repaying a good deed to a random person, was set up to put something nice back into the world says Managing Director Peter Jenkins.
The Huffington Post states that Le Pain Quotidien will donate £5 to FoodCycle, a charity that builds communities and creates healthy meals for those in need, for every baking masterclass purchased.
