The Irish owners of American steakhouse chain Smith & Wollensky have opened a new restaurant in Boston, with plans to open another new venue in Las Vegas next year as part of a $14 million group expansion.
Owned by Danu Partners, an Irish investment group established by Setanta Sports founders Leonard Ryan, Mark O’Meara and Mickey O’Rourke, Smith & Wollensky's new $4 million Boston venue is located in the suburb of Wellesley and can cater for up to 225 guests, according to The Irish Times.
Meanwhile, Danu Partners also plans to open a 14,000 square foot, two-storey restaurant in Las Vegas as part of a $10 million investment in the near future.
