Gourmet Food Parlour To Open In Dublin City Centre

Gourmet Food Parlour has announced it will be opening a new store in Arnotts Henry Street located in Dublin city centre.

Established in 2006 with a restaurant in Dun Laoghaire, there are now six locations across Dublin and Galway including a catering kitchen in Santry.

Gourmet Food Parlour will be taking over the running of the existing Homemade, Corner Café and Kitchen Bistro restaurants in the Arnotts department store.

'Huge Milestone'

"We're always on the hunt to grow and challenge ourselves, and what better place to do so than in @arnottsdublin, Dublin's most iconic department store," said a statement on the company's Instagram.

"This is a huge milestone in what has been a proud and successful 17 years in business, we can't wait to bring Gourmet Food Parlour to the people of inner city Dublin."

Expansion

Lorraine Heskin is founder and CEO of Gourmet Food Parlour.

Hailing from a small village in Co. Galway, she studied at the University of Limerick before heading off to New York for three years, working in a diverse range of food businesses.

On returning to Dublin, Heskin opened the first restaurant in Dun Laoghaire in 2006. Since then, Gourmet Food Parlour has grown into a business employing over 200 people across its seven locations.

Dublin GAA Partnership

Gourmet Food Parlour is also a catering partner with Dublin GAA, in addition to venues such as Slane Castle, City Hall, Malahide Castle and Loughcrew.

The company also offers a food truck for special occasions which is fully equipped to cater for any event including weddings, festivals, corporate launches, and summer BBQ parties.
