Deliveroo Ireland Ltd has released details of new accounts that show the company's Irish revenues rose over sevenfold to €2.89 million last year.
As reported by The Irish Independent, Deliveroo's first set of full year accounts for its Irish operations also reveal that the company recorded a pre-tax loss of €2.44 million in 2016 due to escalating expansion costs.
According to a statement accompanying the accounts, Deliveroo Ireland's "business is growing at a rapid rate which could result in a loss of control".
Despite the firm's Irish revenues being up 623% to €2.89 million during the year ending in December 2016, a combination of €2.8 million in administrative expenses and sales costs of €2.5 million resulted in the €2.44 million loss for the company last year.
