Camile Thai Kitchen is to expand its franchise operations in Ireland by opening three new restaurants by the end of year.
Currently there are eleven Camile restaurants, ten of which are in Dublin, with only one being outside of the capital in Limerick. The new openings will create an additional 100 jobs and are located in Killester and Stillorgan in Dublin, and one in Sligo.
The online delivery restaurant first opened its doors in 2010, blending European and Asian cooking, which won it awards such as 'Healthiest Takeaway in Ireland' two years running. Discussing the new openings, Camile Thai Kitchen founder, Brody Sweeney, said its his goal to double the size of the restaurant chain over the next few years, reports Joe.ie.
Camile lists potential franchising opportunities in Belfast, Cork, Waterford, Drogheda, Dundalk, Navan, and further Dublin locations in Bray, Loughlinstown, Clondalkin, Walkinstown and Lucan. The company states that the estimated total funding requirement for a new Camile Online Delivery Restaurant is between €250,000 and €400,000, giving investors the chance to "get in [on] the ground floor of the booming Online Delivery Restaurant business".
However, the franchise will only open a Camile Thai Kitchen restaurant in towns that have a population of at least 20,000 people.
