Camile Thai Group Appoints Daniel Greene As New CEO

Camile Thai Group has announced the appointment of Daniel Greene as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Greene takes over from Brody Sweeney, who has stepped back from daily operations, having founded the company in 2010 and overseen its significant growth over the past 14 years. Sweeney will remain a majority shareholder.

‘Thrive And Grow’

“I am thrilled to pass the baton to Daniel, whose dedication and expertise have been key to our success,” said Sweeney.

“I am confident that, under his leadership, Camile will continue to thrive and grow.”

In his new capacity as CEO, he will prioritise expanding the Camile Thai franchise network and growing the footprint of its new Indian concept, Thindi.

This strategic initiative aims to build on the company’s increasing presence, which now includes 50 locations across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the UK.

‘Delicious Cuisine’

“I am honoured to take on the role of CEO at such an exciting time for Camile,” said Greene.

“We have a fantastic team and a strong franchise model that has proven to be successful.

“I look forward to leading our expansion efforts and bringing our delicious cuisine to even more communities across Ireland.”

Robotic Wok System

Recent additions to the Camile family include the new outlet at Terminal 2 in Dublin Airport, following a successful partnership with Circle K, which established three Petite Camile food-to-go formats within its service station network.

The group recently implemented a new robotic wok system, currently being trialled at one of its Dublin locations, to support kitchen staff.

Camile Thai is also expanding its partnership with Manna Drone Delivery, aiming to deliver from several new locations by the end of the year.
