Another Successful Chapter for Dublin Restaurant

Chapter One, the Michelin-starred restaurant on Dublin's Parnell Square, has had another successful year.

The restaurant's profits increased by €12,776 to €290,239 for the 12 months to the end of February this year, according to accounts filed by Lindley Ltd, which operates the restaurant.

The cash jumped by over 40 per cent to €975,717, which is a six-fold increase in cash in the last three years.

The recovering economy has brought with it a return to fine dining which has no doubt assisted the restaurant, just as it has assisted many other restaurants in the city.

The restaurant is co-owned by Corkman Ross Lewis, who cooked for the British queen during her state visit to Ireland in 2011. The restaurant opened in 1992 and attained its Michelin star in 2007, one of only eight Irish restaurants be honoured with the award.
