Work is under way on the second phase of a £4 million refurbishment of Belfast's Fitzwilliam Hotel which will involve the renovation of the bedrooms and meeting spaces on the eight and ninth floors and increase the total number of bedrooms at the venue by 15% to 150.
These latest upgrades follow a £2 million refit of the hotel in 2016 which saw its lobby and 113 bedrooms receive an overhaul. Representatives for the venue say that the new refurbishment will compensate for increasing visitor numbers to Belfast.
Work on the refurbishment will generate 17 new jobs for the city and is expected to be completed in late July.
