The Square Bar of Portlaoise has been put on the market by owners the Fitzpatrick family after four generations of their trading on the premises. The Irish Independent reports that the property has been listed with a guiding price of €400,000 by pub and hotel specialists Morisseys.
Overlooking Portlaoise's Market Square and laid out in a traditional pub style, The Square Bar encompasses a 102 square metre ground floor lounge with an accompanying 130 square metre beer garden and 68 square metre smoking area.
