An Bord Pleanála has received an appeal from publican Charlie Chawke about Dublin City Council's decision to green light the construction of a four-storey office block in close proximity to Searsons pub of Baggot Street.
Potential Light Problems And Design Issues
Chawke is concerned that the construction of the office block will adversely impact levels of sunlight in the pub's beer garden and that, when completed, the proposed building will be lacking in character.
A decision about Chawke's appeal is expected to be delivered by June.
