Dublin's The Bridge 1859 pub made a profit of €313,000 during its last financial year.
According to The Irish Independent, the pub's profit was up from a profit of €288,000 recorded for its previous financial year. Additonally, the Ballsbridge venue had €923,000 in outstanding loans and overdrafts at the end of February 2018, a figure that was down from a little more than €1 million a year earlier.
The "Gift That Keeps On Giving"
Acquired by rugby players Jamie Heaslip, Rob Kearney, Dave Kearney and Sean O'Brien and publican Noel Anderson for €1.3 million in 2014, Anderson described The Bridge 1859 last year as being the "gift that keeps on giving".
