Press Up Entertainment, one of Ireland's largest leisure and hospitality groups, has added another site to its growing portfolio by taking over Kiely's in Dublin's Mount Merrion (pictured).
The Sunday Times reports the group, which is owned by investors Paddy McKillen Jr. and partner Matt Ryan, will transform the property into a bar and deli called Union Cafe.
According to the company's accounts, the company borrowed €4.8 million through an Isle of Man vehicle to fund the venture.
The group currently operates 24 hospitality properties, including the Dean Hotel, The Workman's Club, The Liquor Rooms, Captain Americas and the newly-opened Italian restaurant Angelina's.
The group also recently secured planning permission for a 41-bedroom boutique hotel in Ranelagh, Dublin 6.
