It is understood by The Irish Times that a new bar and restaurant will be included in a residential-led scheme being planned for the site of the newly-purchased Kiely's pub in the south Dublin suburb of Donnybrook.
Plans For The Site
The €5 million-plus sale of the pub to developer Shane Whelan's Westridge Real Estate firm was completed on Friday November 22, and it is expected that Whelan will apply for permission to develop a high-end apartment building with a rooftop bar and restaurant on the site.
The new development would be up to six storeys in height.
