Like-for-like sales at the JP McManus and John Magnier-backed UK pub chain Mitchells & Butlers grew 1.3% during the year that ended on September 29, 2018.
The Irish Times reports that while the firm's adjusted operating profit was 1.6% lower in the full year at £303 million, the second half saw growth of £3 million.

Meanwhile, total revenue dropped from £2.18 million the previous year to £2.15 million last year and profit before tax rose from £77 million to £130 million.
