Popular Dublin nightclub Krystle is to close temporarily for five weeks as it undergoes a €1 million refurbishment.
The Harcourt Street venue, a favourite among celebrities, will turn ten years old this November and is celebrating the planned work by hosting a 'Closing Down Party'. It will have an open bar of €25,000 which will run from 11pm until 12:30am on August 26 to 28.
The planned work will be carried out over September and will include a total overhaul of the penthouse, suite, balcony and club areas as well as implementing a new training programme for staff, reports the Irish Independent.
Discussing the refurbishment, Krystle Management said: "Our temporary closure marks the end of an era for Krystle, which has enjoyed tremendous success over the years and developed a loyal customer base, but we are incredibly excited for the next phase."
