Ireland's First BrewDog Pub Opens At Dublin's Capital Dock

Scottish brewery BrewDog has opened its first pub in Ireland at Capital Dock in Dublin.

Hard Fought

Speaking about the new pub to The Business Post, BrewDog retail director James Brown said, "It was the hardest-fought bar we've got and we love it to bits. We've been looking in Dublin for four years now, and getting a pub licence here is a tougher challenge than in other markets.

"We looked in a number of locations in Dublin before finding it. Companies like Indeed and Facebook are around the corner, so we feel we're in a great position to service those businesses, but with a building this size, it can be a destination location as well."

The new two-storey Dublin venue is BrewDog's fourth largest Outpost bar.

"Inundated With Event Requests"

Brown added, "We're already inundated with event requests. That's why we've got two floors - we can really leverage the space."
