New accounts for Breanagh Catering Ltd, which is the company behind Dublin's Copper Face Jacks nightclub, have revealed that the firm paid a €49.95 million dividend to its parent company, Breanagh Catering Holdings, last year.

The new accounts also indicate that pre-tax profits at Copper Face Jacks and the hotel that houses it, the Jackson Court Hotel, decreased by 6% to €3.83 million during the year that ended on January 31, 2019.

Meanwhile, revenues declined by 9.5% to €13.2 million; the number of people employed by the business decreased from 196 to 183; staff costs including directors' pay decreased from €1.28 million to €554,764; operating profits amounted to €3.69 million; and post-tax profits came to €3.25 million, as reported by The Irish Independent.
