Marriott has confirmed that its new four-star hotel in Belfast Harbour will be ready to open its doors to the public in early 2018.
The Irish News reports that the hospitality firm hopes that its new £25 million development will benefit from Belfast's growing reputation as a conference site.
With outer construction on the venue now finished, the current focus is on outfitting its 188 bedrooms and 104-seat restaurant.
The latter eatery will serve as the first and only restaurant operated by Michelin-star chef Jean-Christophe Novelli in Ireland and will feature a French-infused brasserie menu.
