Yeats Country Hotel In Sligo On The Market For €7m

The Yeats Country Hotel, in Sligo, has been placed on the market for sale by property advisor Savills Ireland, with a guide price of €7 million. The four-star hotel is based in the village of Rosses Point, with a prime oceanfront location.

“The Yeats Country Hotel presents an exceptional opportunity for hoteliers and investors looking to capitalise on Sligo’s growing tourism market,” said Tom Barrett, director of hotels at Savills. “With a stunning location overlooking Rosses Point, it appeals to a wide range of parties.”

The Yeats Country Hotel has 98 bedrooms, dining options including the Elsinore Restaurant and Winery Bar, the Eros Spa, a fully equipped leisure centre featuring an 18-metre swimming pool, ample parking, and the opportunity for rebranding and relaunching as a vacant-possession property.

The hotel overlooks both the Coney and Oyster islands and County Sligo Golf Club (Rosses Point), home of the West of Ireland Championship, which attracts thousands of golfers annually.

Savills noted that the hotel facilities and large bedrooms are ideal for golf groups and families who want to enjoy the beaches, local attractions, and the Wild Atlantic Way.

Furthermore, because the hotel is located in the heart of Yeats Country, Savills noted that it also appeals to literary and cultural enthusiasts.

The Rosses Point seaside village is home to the Sligo Yacht Club and boasts Blue Flag beaches that host Sligo’s triathlon every year.

William Butler Yeats and his brother, the renowned artist Jack Butler Yeats, used to take summer holidays at Elsinore House, in Rosses Point, where they found inspiration for many of their works.
