Trigon Hotels has launched its Trainee Management Development Programme (TMDP). The programme will run for 12 months and is accredited by the City & Guilds with a Level 3 Award in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership Principles.

The team members at Trigon taking part in the programme are Diana Bucko, Chloe Ryan, Rebecca Harrington, Kate O'Riordan, Priyanka Serrao and Mario Furlan.
The modules will include lectures on Leadership, Communication, Time Management, Finance, Human Resources, Sales and Marketing, Delegation and Complaint Handling and Presentation Skills.
The programme will be funded by Trigon Hotels and part funded by the CETB Bishopstown Campus.
Trigon Hotels, which includes The Metropole Hotel and The Cork International Hotel, was one of the first hotel companies in Ireland to offer an accredited City & Guilds programme for their team members.
Training and development of team members is key to the culture within the Trigon Group and programmes like these are proving to be a vital fit into staff growth and development across the hotels.
