TMR Hotel Collection has confirmed that it has concluded the purchase of the 97-bed, 130-acre four-star Ballymascanlon House Hotel and estate in Dundalk, Co. Louth.

Having acquired three hotels in 2019, Ballymascanlon House Hotel is TMR's first hotel purchase since the onset of COVID-19 in March 2020. Further hotel acquisitions are planned over the coming years.
Ballymascanlon House Hotel has been acquired from the Quinn family for the TMR Hotel Collection by Davy Real Estate for an undisclosed sum and will be managed by Windward Management. It brings to 14 the TMR Hotel Collection's portfolio of leading four and five star hotels in Ireland.
TMR Hotel Collection is now planning a multi-million euro investment to further enhance Ballymascanlon House Hotel. Plans will focus on upgrading the bedrooms and food & beverage areas, infrastructure, and investment in staff.
Post completion of planned investment at the Ballymascanlon House Hotel, the TMR Hotel Collection will comprise over 1,625 rooms and over 1,500 staff respectively.
