STR Data Indicates Hotel Occupancy In Europe Decreased 44.6% Year-On-Year In August

According to hotel industry market data company STR, hotel occupancy in Europe decreased by 44.6% year-on-year to 43% in Europe in August.

Average Daily Rate And RevPAR

Meanwhile, the average daily rate (ADR) in the region decreased by 13% year-on-year to €103.95, and revenue per available room (RevPAR) decreased by 51.8% to €44.69.

Lowest Levels Ever Recorded For August

STR noted that while absolute occupancy, ADR and RevPAR levels in Europe were up in August from the levels recorded for July, they were the lowest ever recorded for August.
