Billionaire brothers David and Frederick Barclay are in talks to sell London's Ritz hotel to private investment group Sidra Capital, people associated with the discussions have said.

Several parties have expressed interest in purchasing the hotel since the process of selling the property started several weeks ago, but some potential offers have reportedly failed to match the price for which the brothers are hoping to sell it.
According to The Financial Times, a person associated with a potential bidder said that the brothers are seeking offers in excess of £750 million for the hotel. People with knowledge of the matter said that it is not a certainty that the talks with Sidra Capital will lead to a deal.
