Following news earlier this month that Co. Kerry's five-star Sheen Falls Lodge hotel was set to be passed to new owners, it has now been revealed that the venue has been acquired by Singaporean businessmen Dr. Stanley Quek and Peng Loh.
As reported by The Irish Independent, Quek was recently elected as one of Trinity College's pro-chancellors and has invested in a number of Irish properties over the past few years, including properties on Molesworth Street and Baggot Street in the capital.
Further Development
The hotel is reported to have been purchased for approximately €17 million and it is understood that the new owners intend to further develop the property.
