The business behind the Talbot Hotel group, Torski Ltd., saw its profits increase by 14 per cent in 2014 to €2.55 million.
The group, which operates the Talbot Hotels in Stillorgan, Wexford and Carlow, generated €24.43 million of revues through its hotel business.
The group, which also runs the Pettitt's supermarket chain in Wexford, hired 200 more people during the period to 947, according to the Irish Examiner.
In total the firm generated revenues of €113.9 million, a 7 per cent increase. Pre-tax profits amounted to €1.9 million.
Formerly the Stillorgan Park Hotel, the Talbot Hotel (pictured) rebranded last year after a refurbishment to the property.
