The five-star Druids Glen resort saw its profits climb to over €400,000, and eight-fold increase on the year previous.
The profits of €404,934 in 2014 are up from €51,298 in 2013, a positive trend that the resort said have continued into 2015 "with management figures reflecting further improved turnover and continued growth in profitability".
According to the Irish Independent the strong performance the resort has seen started in 2011 after a €3 million rebranding and restructuring programme.
Directors at the resort said "the company's improved results over recent years have enabled the company meet banking, creditor and revenue obligations as they fall due".
